Job Description

Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting on behalf of a large Basingstoke based company for an Accounts Payable role. This organisation is a leading provider within their sector and continue to produce astounding results to customers across the globe.

The company is based in Basingstoke and situated close to the local train station, but also offers free parking on site.

Key duties of this position include:
  • Dealing with incoming Accounts Payable post.
  • Match open purchase orders with correct invoices.
  • Obtaining approval of purchase invoices.
  • Undertaking detailed customer statement reconciliations.
  • Generate inter-company recharge invoices.
  • Regularly paying suppliers.
  • Posting a high volume of invoices on the accounting system.
You will need to have a proven background in Accounts Payable/ Purchase Ledger. Exceptional communication skills and an outstanding telephone manner are essential to be considered.
