The Role
As a Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working as a part of the MEH alliance, who are delivering work across the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's two thousand-five hundred rooms.
Day to day, you'll be providing operational support across the HPC site and ensure activities are carried out safely, with best practice adopted; all the while coordinating multiple projects to ensure services are made available in a time for contractors to deliver their scope of work.
Coordinate timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
Contractor schedule and delivery reporting.
Action recommendations from Lead and Construction team.
Identification of risks, opportunities and threats.
Essential experience of the Project Manager:
Experience of operations delivery in a regulated environment.
High level of understanding of quality & quality improvement processes.
Planning experience required.
IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification (Managing Safely/General Cert) or similar / equivalent desirable.
APM F/PQ is very desirable.
This role complies with the nine-day fortnight working pattern but, does require for you to be full time, onsite.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS (Baseline) security clearance level for this role.
