MEH Alliance

The Project Engineer role is based within our Cavendish Nuclear area.

It's a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's 2,500 rooms.

The role

The difference our new Project Engineer will make

As a Project Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Day to day, you'll assist in the analysis of design, build and installation proposals for Lifting frames, hoists, lifting beams and Construction Lifts including; Temporary Electrical, Temporary Works Procedures and Lifting. Analysis shall factor in design, cost, supply lead times and contractor required by dates.

Essential experience

• NVQ Level 3 in a Technical or Construction related discipline.
• 3-4 years' experience in a construction/project engineering-based environment.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ideally, experience of working on lifting or fabrication projects. (This is not an essential).
