In these extraordinary times of the coronavirus outbreak Telent is continuing to Recruit. We provide services to customers which are integral to providing mission critical systems and infrastructure across the UK and Ireland and we need to continue to deliver those services.
To help limit the amount of face to face contact during the recruitment process, we will now do more online assessments and use Skype/Conf Calls for interviews wherever possible.
With current annual revenues in excess of £400M and 2,400 employees. We operate within various industry sectors including Rail, Traffic, Public Safety, Defence, Service Providers, Enterprise and Public Sector.
To manage the day-to-day coordination of activities across all HR Projects, supporting the SHRBP to ensure effective project governance, progress monitoring and reporting.
The responsibilities of these roles include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate and track actions and plans across a programme of HR Projects.
Organise and maintain a proper and user-friendly filling system for the recording and retrieval of all documents and data related to projects.
Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to manage the actions and plans for their areas of responsibility and taking minutes/actions as appropriate.
Collating and circulating meeting documents in advance of meetings
Developing and updating progress trackers and dashboards to monitor project progress/status.
Assisting the Project leads with programme work, providing administrative support as required.
Supporting the Project teams as required with the generation of periodic reports.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the SHRBP projects.
Take responsibility for document management of HR documents on Everything Telent and co-ordinating updates in line with review schedules.
Business Operations Skills - Experience:
Experience tracking actions and plans
Experience of creating reports, typing correspondence and taking minutes within a business environment.
Excellent project administration and documentation skills
Extremely organised, efficient with good attention to detail
Experience of working in a delivery environment, working with multiple stakeholder groups including project managers, operational and security teams etc.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people at all levels of the organisation
Understand project management methods and life cycle
Competent using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
Project Management training/qualification desirable.
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working unsupervised.
Confidence to make escalations, as required.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan own workload.
Good team player and able to work collaboratively.
Demonstrate a flexible attitude to work tasks and activities allocated.
