Programme Manager - Construction
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Programme Manager help lead our Construction department.
In this exciting role you will have responsibility for the effective management and co-ordination of the courses/learning programmes within the department.
Working closely with the Director of Learning you will manage and organise the efficient day to day running of the department, ensuring that the student experience is maintained for all learners. You will also manage department budgets, timetable courses/staff, carry out staff observations, and personally still deliver an agreed amount of teaching hours.
The successful candidate must have:
* A full teaching qualification
* A minimum of a level 4 qualification in a Construction related subject
* Previous management experience within a FE environment (coordination or supervisory experience may also be considered)
* Extensive teaching experience within a Construction subject
Please note: Following current Government COVID-19 guidance the majority of our staff are working remotely and not on the College campus. It is therefore highly desirable that candidates have experience of working from home and utilising video conferencing packages (e.g. Microsoft Teams or Zoom) in order to successfully carry out their role, or it is essential that they can demonstrate the capability to adapt to this and pick up the required Technological knowledge very quickly.
