Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to join their production team where you will be manufacturing Epoxy and Polyurethane Resin products. They export to over 50 different countries, and the products are used across a diverse selection of industry sectors which includes; Formula 1, Rail, Oil & Gas, Pattern-making, Foundry and Modelmaking.
Having their own in-house Research and Development facility enables them to be at the forefront of new technologies which are sort after worldwide.
PURPOSE: To operate the production machinery to manufacture products and develop a good working knowledge of our materials and processes. To ensure goods are picked, packed and labelled correctly. Take part in monthly stock audit and regular team briefings.
DIMENSIONS: Processing of specific raw materials in the correct order and weight to ensure finished goods meet the correct specification. De-canting finished goods into correct pack sizes.
PRODUCTS: The Company formulates manufactures and sells a range of high performance resin and polymer compounds, based on Epoxy resin, Polyurethane and Silicone raw materials.
MAIN DUTIES: To ensure that jobs are completed on time & as per the production plan.
To ensure that operations are carried out as specified on the job cards & that all materials are accurately identified, checked, weighed, loaded, decanted & labelled.
To conduct testing on manufactured product to ensure it meets the required specification.
To ensure that materials & vessels are palletised, stored in the correct locations & that all goods are in a fit condition for sale.
To ensure that the machinery & production areas are kept clean & that all drums are taken out & tools put away at the end of the day.
To try to improve efficiency through improved working practises & to ensure production procedures are followed correctly.
To ensure that products are picked correctly, in terms of product code, product quantity and product size, as is necessary.
QUALITIES: Individuals should be numerate, literate and able to use a computer. They should be able to communicate clearly with staff at all levels of the company and should be able to work without supervision (after training is complete). They should be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Individuals are responsible for ensuring that the duties they complete are carried out according to the company policies.

The role is a full time position 40 hours per week 8.30 – 5.00pm
22 days holiday accrued + all bank holidays
