Role: Procurement Officer
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (D.O.E) + Benefits
Location: London

Procurement People have been exclusively engaged by a global NGO who are currently going through a very exciting period of growth and change. We are seeking career-minded, self-motivated procurement professional who are socially aligned with our clients cause

The role will sit in the Corporate Services Department of the organisation which is centralised supporting 40 countries across 4 different continents. The Procurement team is responsible for supporting Project & Departmental teams in overseeing supplier contracts internationally.

The primary responsibility for the successful candidate will be to provide support, oversight and advice for corporate teams to ensure funding is spent appropriately on services and goods (IT, Marketing, Professional Services and wider categories).

Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
• Liaise with multi-location user community, providing solutions, support and customer service
• Ensure Supplier Engagements in line with Policies & Guidelines and ensuring value for money
• Identify potential suppliers and enhance relationships with existing suppliers
• Effectively maintain process documentation, supplier/contract databases to ensure supplier performance measurements.
• Manage RFP processes through preparation, analysis and contract negotiations as needed
• Manage assigned procurement projects
• Liaise effectively with a wide range of Stakeholders across the organisation
• Review, understand and interpret contract language

Person Specification:
• 3+ years' experience in Procurement or related roles (Contract Management, Category Management, Supply Chain Management
• Strong Stakeholder Management experience with Projects experience
• Knowledge of managing successful tender projects
• Demonstrate strong analytical and writing skill
• Effective Communicator at various levels
• Educated to Degree Level OR hold a relative business qualification

Desirable:
• Experience of working with an NGO or relative organisation
• Strong understanding of NGO Procurement guidelines or relative
