Position: Process Engineer
Location: Kent; commutable from Gillingham, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Dartford
Salary: £Negotiable and extremely competitive salaries + shift allowance + leading benefits
Hours of work: rotating shift patter
Typical duties will include but are not limited to:
O Provide hands on support to support the production operator on process
O Front line support for all Technical Issues
O Support manufacturing to ensure correct quality, volume and cost
O Calibration and inspection of gauging equipment
O Provide structured problem solving
O FMEA process documentation
Knowledge and experience required:
O You will already have extensive experience as a production engineer, process engineer or manufacturing engineer within a CNC Manufacturing environment.
O Time serve apprenticeship/ HND/Degree in an engineering related subject or equivalent
O In-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing/ Continuous Improvement methodologies and how to apply them in practice
O Confident hands-on approach, problem solving and rout cause analysis.
O SOP and PFMEA creation
O Knowledge of route cause analysis and structured problem solving ( 8D, PPS, Fish bone)
