Job Description

Education Network is working in partnership with a “Good”  Primary school in South Shields seeking a Teaching Assistant. 

The teaching assistant role will involve working across KS2 to deliver intervention to small groups and cover PPA.

The ideal teaching assistant will have –
  • Level 3 supporting Teaching & Learning or Degree level education.
  • Experience delivering prepared lessons.
  • Supporting students with lower ability needs & SEN.
  • Experience working as a teaching assistant within a school setting.
 Additional skills like Team Teach, Autism awareness or Safeguarding are advantageous but not essential.
