In September 2018 our client proposed an £11.7 billion five year business plan, for the period 2020-2025, to Ofwat. Since submission, our client has reviewed the plans from other water companies, received feedback from Ofwat and considered their own ambitions.
Before Ofwat make their final decisions on our client's business plan there are changes they have already chosen to make. For example, to address observations made by Ofwat since submission.
This role is within the Financials Data Tables workstream who assist the clients Board in ensuring that the business plan meets the needs of customers, is high-quality and deliverable.
The role is required immediately through to 31 March 2019 to support the Data Tables Project Manager who will liaise with workstream leads and generally help to build trust and confidence in our clients refined business plan.

What will this role involve?
The purpose of the PMO Support is to assist the Data Tables Project Manager to produce and deliver a detailed project plan for April submission.
Support PM in facilitating data table review sessions with Heads of department (HoDs) and executives.
Support PM in facilitating daily project check ins - recording and updating action and risk log.
Support PM in regular reporting of progress on the data tables workstream to central PR19 team.
Support PM in keeping project plan updated, based on daily table readiness status.
Track and chase progress of table sign-offs, working with PM - engaging business stakeholders (data providers, SAMs, HoDs).
Keeping day by day tracking plan up to date and rescheduling of activities as necessary.
Day by day plan includes - number population, sign off, commentary, audit and action closure.
Produce all programme materials for communicating timescales to HoDs/Execs and PR19 workstream reporting with Project administrator.
Support the PM in the maintenance of accountability matrix to ensure that the correct named individuals at various levels of responsibility were identified.
Any ad hoc duties requested by the Data Tables Project Manager.
What skills is our client looking for?
Our client is seeking an experienced PMO with at least 3 years' experience who is detailed conscious, organised individual and are used to juggling several tasks at once. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work on your own initiative and achieve deadlines without compromising the quality of work
This 3-month contract role is based in our clients Reading head office, with a salary of up to £300 per day.
