The PMO Analyst - Resource Lead supports the management of the 100+ Digital Delivery Resource pool to ensure the appropriate supply of Programme Manager, Project Manager, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Service Introduction Staff to meet the demands of the Digital Delivery Portfolio; and supports the Digital Delivery Management Team maintain all non-Resource pool posts within the 100+ wider Digital Delivery team.
This role is responsible for workforce planning of both demand and supply of contract and permanent staff, prompting actions to ensure demand is met in a timely manner.
You will proactively support the demand for resources with the Lead Business Analysts and Heads of Delivery and analyze the supply requirements with the Heads of the Practices to ensure the right people with the right skills are in the right roles, includes quality assurance. Included will be supporting the predictive demand modelling of resources over at least a two year window.
You will manage the centralised view of resources assigned to roles, providing recommendations in liaison with practice managers and project teams for current and future resource allocations.
You will ensure that PAWS orders and purchase orders are in place to allow sufficient time for the approval processes to support recruitment and contractor extensions.
You will support the on-boarding and off-boarding processes for new joiners and leavers.
You will support talking talent,(appraisal and development) engaging with practice managers and project teams to ensure objectives are clearly aligned to department and programme goals and providing recommendations on capabilities and the development and progression of people to ensure high performance.

What will this role involve?
This role forms part of the Digital Delivery PMO team and will understand stakeholder demand and lead resource pool allocation. Additionally, the role works closely with resourcing and HR, managing end-to-end on-boarding including interviewing through to the maintenance of job descriptions and skills profiles.
What skills are we looking for?
You will have experience managing and coordinating resource demand and supply requirements for projects and programmes within a large complex organisation.
You will have proven experience of driving efficiency and optimal performance through workforce planning.
You will be familiar with Excel and preferably EPM toolsets.
