We are looking for a talented Material Planning Process Manager UK to join our UK team based at our Yeovil site in the South West of England.

As a Material Planning Process Specialist UK your main responsibilities are to:

*Provide governance for Material Planning & Control (MP&C) activities, supplying process definitions and control documentation, within the process framework which covers material planning activities for the Operations.
*Provide MP&C data and analysis to the Operations and Material Management functions, working in conjunction with all the LHD geographies to promote harmonisation and consistency in approach and output.
*Work in partnership with the business stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver comprehensive solutions, in such forms as: reports, data files, performance monitors and analysis, communicating conclusions and insights to enhance the operation and effectiveness of the organisations.
*The MP&C point of contact for the LH-OS, responsible for ensuring amendments and new process documents are loaded to the LH-OS in accordance with its controls and principles and support any audits or third party queries.
*Coach, facilitate and support the business, in resolving issues and queries associated with: material management, MRP, order book management and data analysis

Key Responsibility Areas
*Develop, maintain and improve a suite of key reports, used to monitor and control the material availability within the business. Ensure effective and consistent reporting.
*Design, create and manage new solutions for MP&C data analysis and reporting requirements as defined by the business.
*Produce the weekly and monthly business KPI's, coordinating with team members to ensure the outputs are delivered on time, according to the business needs.
*Write, distribute and maintain governance control documents, covering key MP&C processes. Primary documents are: Departmental Instructions and Company Procedures. In conjunction with the business stake holders and user base, communicate and train out process information.
*Ensure compliance with quality requirements related to process and governance.
*The MP&C point of contact for the LH-OS, responsible for ensuring amendments and new processes documents are loaded to the LH-OS in accordance with its controls and principles and support any audits or third party queries.
*Support the working capital reduction activity by providing standardised and harmonised processes to enable the business to identify and positively affect; optimisation of capital and improved cash-flow.
*Support areas where performance is below target and advise on improvement activities. Monitor to ascertain effectiveness and pace of recovery.
*Investigate process problems and instigate robust solutions to permanently resolve them.
*Collaborate with all business governance functions on project activities and in the resolving of business process and governance issues.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
*Formal qualification in relevant subjects, ideally at degree level, or equivalent experience in relevant disciplines.
*The ability to absorb and process information and feedback from stakeholders and users, to clearly and accurately understand situations and then apply expertise to provide robust solutions.
*Experienced in process improvement, with the ability to lead workshops and process mapping activities.
*The ability to be able to cope with demanding and emergent business issues in a dynamic environment, with the skill to organise activities according to expected deadlines and business needs.
*Strong interpersonal skills; with the ability to relay concepts and conclusions effectively, to experts and non-experts at all levels, via formal and informal briefings and by published documentation.
*Experience of the following functions important: MRP, A/C Operations, Logistics, Supplier management, Material management.
*Familiarity and competency to use the following software; SAP ERP, MS Excel, MS Word. A basic knowledge or understanding of the following software would be useful; SAP Business Warehouse, MS PowerBI and MS Visio.
*Working level knowledge of a least one of the relevant modules of the SAP ERP system, with a good general knowledge of the system overall.
*An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and impact analysis.
*A good understanding, with practical experience of 'Lean' principles and techniques is desirable.
