Planned Maintenance Manager (Building Services)
Full Time, Permanent
Package - £45,000 - £50,000 negotiable + Car Allowance
Location - Reigate, RH2 9PY
Working from home during Covid-19 however will be required to travel extensively across the South.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with proven experience at managing planned maintenance programme on a framework contract. You would be responsible for controlling and executing the planned maintenance schedule at all stations, depots, lineside buildings and MDUs across the Southern Region ensuring we get maximum efficiencies in our organisational arrangements and maximise returns for our client. It will be your critical objective to ensure that works are delivered safely and compliantly with all applicable regulations. The successful candidate will have a technical background, wide knowledge of building services maintenance duties and have experience of project management.

Maintenance duties that require planning include, but not limited to; Air-conditioning, Boilers (domestic and commercial gas, chemical dosing requirements), Electrical Light fittings (Emergency Lights, ballast, igniter, starter etc.) and lamps/tubes, Water heaters, Automatic entry systems (rams, entry keypads, maglocks), Man-safe access systems, BMS, Water Risk Assessments and Legionella controls.

The successful candidate will have;

* Previous experience of developing an M&E maintenance programme
* Technical background (eg) Electrical or Mechanical Certifications
* An understanding of Compliance / Legal Legislation
* Ability to manage and analyse large amounts of data to aid in work planning, programme management
* Full UK Driver's Licence (no more than 6 points)

You would be responsible for;

* Providing weekly updates to the PPM programme
* Attending periodic meetings with client to resolve any issues
* Supplying condition reports of client assets and flag any items in need of urgent replacement
* Liaising with direct labour and supply chain to ensure works are completed to program
* Ensure accurate costing of the PPM works
* Assisting with revising the price of the PPM contract on an annual basis
* Leading the procurement and ongoing management of the supply chain required to deliver the PPM Programme
* Actively pursue continuous improvement of the processes and systems
