The role
We are looking for forward-thinking, results-orientated and customer focussed PeopleCentre HRIS Business / Functional Analyst, to join our exciting fast paced PeopleCentre Technology and Information team.
The team is an integral part of the PeopleCentre function within Human Resources (HR) with the responsibility for all technology and data related to HR & Payroll across the group. Its fundamental purpose, supporting the drive towards better employee experience, through enabling technology to support better business outcomes.
Reporting to the People Information Manager, they will work closely with all areas of HR, IT and the business to; identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, take ownership and be engaged in the successful delivery of HR projects.
Whilst engaging in key new initiatives, the successful candidates will lead on maintaining and improving current operations through; the delivery of enhancements to the current HR system solution, providing accurate and insightful management information to our customers as per our established demand plan
A key component of this role is to place the customer at the centre of everything we do, from initial engagement, through requirements capture, delivery and aftercare to ensure solutions embed successfully and operationally.

Essential Experience
Business Analyst experience in HRIS, Data or Software Development
Senior stakeholder management and relationship development
System Integration, implementation and/or analysis experience
Experience in running requirement, process mapping workshops, UAT and playback of solutions
Desirable Experience
Reporting and data analysis
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a LEAN background
Ability to extract, manipulate, analyse and present data in a way that provides insight.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detail.
A proactive, can-do professional approach, able to quickly adjust and adapt.
Exceptional planning skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Process documentation, review and re-engineering
Ability to build rapport, persuade and influence others.
Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Experience in mentoring junior BA's
Willingness to travel to other Babcock offices within the UK as required
