Job Description

Payroll Administrator required to join a unique retailer based in Southampton for a 12 month fixed term contract. The Payroll Administrator will play an important part in providing support to the team throughout a period of maternity. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Dealing with payroll and employee benefit queries from members of staff including P11D and P60s, in an effective and efficient manner
• Liaison with internal departments to ensure prompt turnaround of all documentation required
• Input high volumes of attendance, weekly and monthly and sales data for salary calculation purpose
• Undertaking ad hoc tasks and projects as and when required
• Input weekly timesheet data into the payroll system and check input processed by other members of the team

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Qualified by experience or studying AAT
• Previous experience in a similar role as an Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant
• Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Navision, or Sage would be an advantage.
• Available to start immediately
