You will be responsible for creating a range of cakes and pastries to complement menus across two dynamic fusion kitchens and various associated food outlets. The successful candidate will also support and train a team of chefs in in the preparation and presentation of hand-crafted deserts and cakes, rolling out a seasonally changing menu across outlets within the hotel.
Ideally you should have a proven track record of providing quality dishes within a hotel or restaurant environment, with a good knowledge of ingredients and a creative approach to menu design, however our client would be willing to provide training for the right candidate.
At a minimum you should have an NVQ Level 1&2 with two to three years previous experience in a similar role.
You should have experience organising, delegating and be able to work on your own initiative with good leadership and communication skills, encouraging and supporting others within the team.
