The Company
Excellent opportunity to provide patent Administration/Paralegal/PA support to a successful Sole Practitioner in a lovely office in Central Bristol.

The salary on offer is circa £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits including 25 days plus bank holidays and your Birthday off!
Working hours are full time Monday - Friday circa 09.30 am - 5.00 pm (although there could be some flexibility on working hours for the right candidate).
The client will also support with the patent administration qualification as well.

The Role: Patent Administrator/Paralegal/PA
You will be supporting with patent administration, paralegal work and some PA duties, and will be working alongside the Director to support with their workload on a daily basis.
Main duties will include, maintaining and updating records, diary management, liaising with and chasing clients, daily communication with clients, putting together reports and updating report actions, billing, and some general business development duties as well as occasional typing and drafting letters, and any other general office administration.

Ideal Candidate:
You will need to be a self-sufficient, responsible and hardworking candidate, who will enjoy close attention to detail work, and will work comfortably in a very small team. You'll need to be highly organised and able to anticipate needs before they arise and enjoy working in a supportive administration role.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a patent administrator, or PA or paralegal, or office administrator in a regulated working environment. You'll need to be happy to commit to a permanent role within the attorney/intellectual property attorney field.
A law degree, LPC or GDL is desirable but not essential, also if you have a Science or Engineering degree that would be desirable but not essential.
Good IT skills are required, including Excel as you will be using Excel spreadsheets.
