My client is a bespoke contract catering company who pride themselves on exceptional quality and service delivery using fresh ingredients.
An opportunity has arisen for talented, experienced Pastry Chef to work within a brigade of chefs in a busy, high end Conference venue where the food standards are high and a memorable, on trend dining experience is created. You will be also working for an award winning Chef Manager who is passionate about pastry and has incredible experience.
You will be responsible for the full Pastry operation, producing fresh breads, desserts, cakes on a daily basis. You will demonstrate excellent pastry skills, introducing creative ideas whilst maintaining my clients brand standards. You will also be aware of allergies and dietary requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience of running a pastry section within a similar environment or a high end Hotel. Your presentation skills and execution of your desserts will be second to none.
This is 5 out of 7 operation with some evening shifts and weekends, 40 hours per week on a rota basis including weekends and evening shifts.
A level of flexibility is required in accordance with the needs of the business.
