Pastoral Support Worker

Location: Blyth

Pay: £375 - £425 per week

September 2022 – July 2023

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare and experience of supporting children with SEND/relevant school-based experience.

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Worker to work as part of our supply team at a primary school in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a long-term Pastoral Support Worker role which will commence in September 2022 until July 2023. This position will be part-time, and working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, 4 days per week. The school is willing to increase to 5 days for the right candidate.

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and effective team, the successful Pastoral Support Worker will focus on delivering support to children and their families outside of the classroom. The role is varied, and full training will be provided. A candidate with experience in nurture or emotional literacy with good communication skills would be beneficial, but they are willing to speak to any candidates who has relevant transferable skills.

This ‘Outstanding’ two-from entry school is looking for a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join their team. There is strong leadership from the Headteacher, and children enjoy coming to school to learn. Within school, there is a warm and nurturing environment which is inclusive to all pupils.
