The Firm:
An extremely successful international law firm, with a fully dedicated office based in Central Bristol only a stone's throw from Temple Meads & on all major bus routes are looking for a Part time Legal Secretary to join their team. The role is part time permanent working 2 days per week - (either Mondays or Tuesdays or Thursdays and Fridays)

The full time equivalent salary is up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) so £10,000 - £11,000 per annum is the part time salary.

Job Role:
As the Part time Legal Secretary you will provide high quality and efficient team secretarial service to fee earners within the insurance group as required including trainee solicitors as part of a job share arrangement.

Main Duties:
Diary Management of fee earner as required, using own initiative to arrange meetings and conference calls
Checking of fee-earner emails as required in their absence, responding where able, booking video/conference calls, meeting rooms and required refreshments, making lunch and dinner reservations
Making simple travel arrangements as required, e.g. booking train tickets and collating itineries, handling telephone enquiries in a professional and polite manner, taking accurate messages and following up on any agreed actions.
Managing the workflow, reprographics, amending and formatting agreements/documents as required, short pieces of copy-typing and digital dictation as required, carrying out PDF to Word conversions and vice versa, collating all indexing on legal documentation, setting up files as necessary, production of short, less complex PowerPoint presentations as required.
You will also proof read documents to ensure the delivery of work to the highest standard, as well as processing fee earner expenses and other duties to support the team.
Ideal Candidate:
As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience within a Legal Secretarial role/ working within a busy corporate environment and have strong Microsoft Office skills in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent client care skills are essential and the ability to deal with queries from internal and external clients in a professional and polite manner.
You will be an excellent team player, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to the role ability to think on feet and solve problems independently.
Flexibility will be required from time to time to ensure a consistent and acceptable service level.
