Part 2 Architectural Assistant, Oxford, £28-35K DOE 

A opportunity for an Part 2 Architectural Assistant has arisen in Oxford to join a well-established, highly regarded Architectural practice. The firm specialise in large scale residential schemes, urban expansion and student accommodation and are currently looking to expand the team due to a sustained high work load. 

This award winning practice champions the use of BIM and interactive environments. They are looking for a technically minded individual who is proficient using Revit as well as being comfortable in front of clients. 

A successful Part 2 Architectural Assistant candidate will be provided with a chance to work across a range of sectors, however experience within the residential sector will be advantageous. As the company works hand in hand with multiple national Housing Developers, Housing Associations and Contractors. 

The Role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Production of information drawings, sketches and graphics
  • Assisting the Project Architects on larger schemes
  • Production of information drawings, sketches and graphics
  • Liaise with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams and ensuring that the design projects are on schedule
  • Working involvement in all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work
 The Candidate: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Suitable Architectural qualification and previous residential experience
  • Experience working within the UK regulatory system (Planning and Building Regulations)
  • Proficiency with Revit is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated, creative and confident individual aiming to develop their skills
