Search Consultancy are looking for Parcel Sorter for our client based in Middleton.
Do you have previous experience in a fast-paced parcel sorting environment? Parcel Sorters are required to work nights for a super-busy company based in Middleton, Greater Manchester, with a rate of up to £11.14 per hour on offer, and some great additional company benefits.
As a critical member of the warehouse night shift staff team, you will be required to take on mixed duty roles including unloading and loading vehicles ready for the next day of deliveries, scanning, picking and sorting.
Job details for parcel sorters:
You will earn between £8.72 and £18.00
The shifts will generally be from 10:00 pm until 10.00 am, although flexible working is an option, and hours can vary
Some of the items you will be handling can be substantial, so you must have experience in manual labour/heavy lifting
The successful warehouse experienced candidate will need to be comfortable working in a busy environment, with the ability to cope under pressure. Ideally, you'll have previous experience as a sorter, perhaps as a Royal Mail parcel sorter or UPS parcel sorting.
Full training will be provided, although experience within a similar operational warehouse, factory or manufacturing environment will be an advantage. Our client's warehouse team will make you feel very welcome; they're a sociable bunch!
