Job Description

Would you like to work in a large organisation, which employs over 18,000 staff across seven hospitals? The Organisational Learning Team at LTHT are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team supporting the leadership and development interventions offered to staff across the organisation.

 

Reporting to the Educational, Learning & Organisational Development Manager, this role brings together many positive elements of HR; including supporting organisational design, recruitment, talent development & retention.

 

You should have extensive experience in the delivery and QA of training, evidence of management & leadership development and change initiatives and some knowledge of organisational development concepts and change management methodologies. You should also have had some experience in facilitating training, management & leadership. You will ensure delivery of priority areas and provide support to individual projects from initiation stage through to completion. You will be competent in complying with the NHS assurance frameworks implementing policies and procedures.

 

You will be expected to have worked in a similar role as part of a large organisation and demonstrated your capabilities. We expect your style to be straightforward, pragmatic and hands on as well as engaging and inspirational.

If you are offered a position, you may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. For Band 1 roles the Trust will pay the cost of the DBS checks and refund to you the cost of the update service. DBS checks for volunteers are free.

LTHT will request electronic Factual Employment References from your previous employers. These references will be requested before you are issued with an unconditional offer of employment letter.
