Operations Support Manager – Contract Catering Education – Midlands area - £25,000 per annum circa (depending on experience) Term time only

My client is an independent contract catering company who is passionate about providing an high quality catering service to their clients within the Education sector.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Operations Support Manager with a strong understanding of contract catering within the Education sector. You will report to the Operations Manager and assist with mobilisation, relief cover, trouble shooting and enhancing units in their service and delivery in and around the Midlands area.

My client is ideally looking for an experienced Operations Support Manager, Group Manager or Multi Site Manager with impressive financial and business acumen, who can increase profits, control costs and drive sales. You will be responsible for overseeing  and motivating Catering/Chef Managers in your area, ensuring their units are performing within budget. You will also be required to assist with sales presentations for prospective clients.

The successful candidate will be a strong manager with previous experience of successfully managing your area/multiple units. You will have effective communication skills, an eye for detail and a proactive, can do attitude. You will also have excellent craft skills with innovative ideas.

You will be a car owner and willing to travel around the Midlands and any other units that require cover/assistance.
