Job Description

My client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

My client is a small, friendly but professional company and is a leading manufacturer within their field.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone someone who is looking for a varied administration position as you will be involved in many different areas of the business including helping with improvement and development of HR, Health & Safety and Quality.

As well as general office administration there will be opportunities to demonstrate your skill set in administration and be a significant part of the progress, development and improvements across various areas of the business. Training will be given by my client to ensure you can understanding of what they do as well as a greater depth of knowledge in the aforementioned areas.

Responsibilities:

*Updating Health & Safety documents with guidance from relevant staff
*Purchase orders for general consumables
*Updating and producing HR documentation
*Answering the phone and transferring calls
*Dealing with C of Cs from purchase orders
*Producing communication documents for all staff
*Controlling stationery stock
*Planning reviews
*Diary management
*Completion and distribution of reports
*Dealing with confidential information
*General office duties
*PA work for the senior management team (including minute taking)

Requirements:

*General office administration experience
*Excellent attention to detail
*Excellent, friendly and professional telephone manner
*Team player
*Excellent organisational skills
*Ability to read technical drawings desirable but not essential
*Familiar with main Microsoft Office software, especially Excel as you will be
working on complex spreadsheets
*Experienced in communicating with customers

The ideal candidate will come from an engineering/technical background, however this is not essential.

My client is offering an excellent salary of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours of work: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm.
