With experience from the NHS and/or private sector, you will be part of an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy Service to service users within Adderley Green, a neurological care centre providing specialist care and rehabilitation to those with a wide range of neurological conditions.

You will be supported by an experienced Therapy Team to be able to assess and provide treatment to our residents. You will be responsible for the assessment and management of residents to promote their independence and support long term management of their condition.

With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you reach your career goals.

Full time/part time hours available.
Your responsibilities will include:

Completing assessments, planning sessions and implementing intervention
Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities
To co-ordinate the induction of all newly appointed staff as per department standards.
To co-ordinate, guide and support the clinical interventions provided by the Occupational Therapy ServiceTo be successful in this role, you will need:

Registered OT with Dip COT qualification or degree
3 years post qualification, of which a minimum of 1 years working within a neurological setting
Experience working with people with neurological needs
Strong knowledge of best practices within a similar setting
Experience, knowledge and skill in supervising OT staff and studentsWhat you will get:
