Early Years Practitioner
Veritas Education are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join their ever-growing team. We are aware the current climate has changed the dynamics in which our settings will be operating. However not only are we planning for the present we are also planning for the future. And once normal operating hours return, cover for ad hoc, planned absence, holidays and sickness will be needed.
Throughout this tempory closure period our settings will also be remaining open to support our front-line staff for key worker children. There will be times when they need extra help and support during this challenging period. Veritas are working in partnership with Lancashire settings to support them during this time.
Our Settings are located across Lancashire:

Every day on supply is varied and provides the opportunity to visit different settings. The right candidates will be able to;
Support the provision of the nursery, ensuring you work as part of a team to provide high quality care in a safe and secure environment.
Be able to change roles at the drop of a hat from Fairy to Pirate.
Have the ability to read a book upside down and not be afraid to get dressed up and stuck into messy play.
Maintain and ensure the safety of the premises with particular reference to the safety of the children. Follow the settlings policies and procedures.
Have a clear understanding of the EYFS, statutory frameworks and guidance.
Form relationships with parents and children alike.
Creating an exciting and fun learning environment.Key Skills
Relevant level 2/3 childcare qualification
Recent experience of working within a childcare environment
Willingness to support our little people with their development
Hands on and helpful with a warm welcoming smile
Be flexible and available at short noticeWe have various long term/day to day roles and opportunities available for experienced Early Years Practitioners as well as newly qualified Early Years- these will be to start in September 2020 possibly sooner.
