As a Primary NQT, you are just starting out on your journey into the world of developing and inspiring the minds of our next generation. Responsibilities as a supply teacher:
Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
Have control over a whole class and maintain discipline
Adhering to the national curriculum
Engage the children in fun and captivating lessons which leave them feeling as though they've achieved something
Adhering to school behavioural policy
Requirements for the role:
QTS or equivalent qualifications
Some experience teaching EYFS, reception KS1 or KS2 classes
An up to date DBS, on the update service speeds the process along
A drive and passion for teaching children
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Being able to drive and have access to a car is a great help, but not necessarily if location is within public transport
A flexible attitude and willingness to take on challenges
