Job Description

Blue arrow is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Night Shift Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Operations Manager.
You will be managing the night shift warehouse operation based in the North West.
The successful candidate will be able to Implement production,
High standards of productivity,
Managing around 60+ staff.
Maintain high customer service standards You must be able to achieve the above using semi-automated picking system & within designated time scales.

Key Responsibilities -
*Manage the operational KPI reports & information.
*Ensure that all orders are picked, checked, packed and loaded correctly, efficiently and safely to depot fleet.
*Manage the deployment of staff into all areas of the night shift department to ensure the successful management of workload flux.
*Conduct disciplinary as necessary in line with company disciplinary policy and best practice.
*Ensure management of absence and timekeeping within the department in line with company policy & best practice to enhance the efficiency of the shift.
*Carry out quality spot checks of picks to ensure the Pickers are performing their duties accurately and efficiently.
*Manage & coordinate the general housekeeping of the Warehouse on a daily basis.
*Ability to measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
*Communicate effectively and delegate effectively with team, key stakeholders and peers.
*Motivate, lead and inspire supervisors and general operatives.
*Possess and deploy a coaching mindset.
*Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices to optimize performance.
*Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
*Manage and drive employee retention & attendance initiatives on the shift.
