My client, based in Ipswich is seeking a Newly Qualified Construction Solicitor

Salary £30,000+ depending on experience

My client, a growing firm in the East of England with a focus on providing excellent legal advice to a diverse range of individuals, institutions and executives across the region and beyond.

The Construction Team

Their Legal 500 ranked team work with their clients on all construction law requirements, fully utilising their established connections with other relevant professionals such as local planning authorities, surveyors, architects, engineers and other construction professionals. They offer their clients a fully integrated service from first inception to completion of a construction project.

The Role

Due to expansion of the team along with adding to the Construction expertise in their offices. Based in Ipswich, you will be dealing with non-contentious matters for a broad range of well-established clients. Instructions involve all aspects of construction work, offering you excellent scope for development in an engaging and supportive environment.

Providing their solicitors with early levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment. Taking a genuine interest in your development and providing you with all the support and training you need.

Candidate Spec

We are looking for candidates with a willingness to learn and develop, good social skills and plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help provide a first class client service. Seeking a newly or recently qualified lawyer with at least six months experience (post qualification or during your training contract) in either contentious or non-contentious construction work, or you have a genuine interest in construction law and can articulate this.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

In order to have the skills we require for this position, ideally you should have gained at least six months experience in a similar contentious or non-contentious role.

You will have:
" excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
" ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines
