Marine Engineering & Systems
The NDT Technician role is based within Marine Engineering & Systems.
At our site in Rosyth, we aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our engineering, specialised manufacturing, gas handling systems and naval marine businesses
As an NDT Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll work as part of the successor project and be integral in maintaining the integrity of the components.
Day to day, you'll carry out NDT in accordance with SNT-TC-1A compliant NDT programme, magnetic particle inspection of welds and machined components, liquid penetration inspection and ultrasonic inspection in accordance with approved procedures and techniques.

Candidates shall have sufficient qualifications and experience to allow them to undergo additional project specific training to achieve certification under our SNT-TC-1A NDT Programme
Hold PCN level II in MT, PT, UT (3.1, 3.2, 3.8, 3.9)
VT and RT Rad Interp PCN Level 2 preferable
Around 5 years' experience of NDT
Ability to read and understand technical standards and drawings
Must have or be able to obtain the necessary level of security clearance
