Job Description

Vision for Education are recruiting for and Music Teacher for a secondary school based in Blackburn starting January 2023.

The role
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 level.

This role will start January 2023 and will be for the rest of the academic year. This role will be to cover a resignation so the school would also consider extending the role into the new academic year on a permanent basis.

You will be working in a small but supportive department and be able to work on your own initiative.  The school are happy to consider both experienced and outstanding NQT applications.

This school in Blackburn is based on the outskirts of the city centre.  This school based in Blackburn was recently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED and praised for excellent levels of teaching as well as good behaviour within the school. The successful Science Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Music Teacher role you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
