The difference our new MT Technician Workshop will make
As a MT Technician Workshop, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Providing service support to the A330-200 Voyager aircraft based at Royal Air Force Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
Day to day, you'll help with maintenance and repair of vehicles and ground support equipment, general workshop tasks, compliance with Babcock and site policies on Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental. Work consistently to processes and procedures, ensure customer support is provided continuously, observe, and minimise penalties associated with asset availability, ensure computer systems and vehicle/equipment statuses are always maintained. You will also complete driving tasks as required and assisting ground handling operations, operate Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, including boom and scissor lifts, operate Forklifts, complete both IT and paperwork records and documents and assist with general tasks as directed by Line Management

Must be in possession of basic driving licence and Large Goods Vehicles licence C and D1.
Must hold proof of colour perception CP2 for airfield driving operations.
Must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a mechanic/fitter and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Be computer literate.
Not more than 6 points on driving licence.
Extensive experience within a similar aircraft industry.
Be able to provide proof of colour perception (CP2).
Experience with Ground Support Equipment and Specialist airfield vehicles.
Excellent communication skills
Obtain or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance
