Job Description

As the ideal MRP Controller you will challenge, validate and apply judgement at all times in order to manipulate MRP SAP data in the most efficient and cost effective manner. You will ideally have sound experience within a material supply or manufacturing environment and some experience using SAP within a Material Planning role. Background in an Aerospace or high integrity manufacturing environment. You will have proven evidence in planning and delivering projects and a proven ability to priorities/manage tasks under pressure to ensure that the required service level is maintained.

The day to day role will require you to;
* Maintain SAP MRP data accurately and promptly.
* Maintain SAP Material Master Data.
* Ensure all parts and materials required for build, modification, maintenance or any other scheduled task are planned on time.
* Maintain contract scheduled requirements in line with corresponding bills of material, and Master Production Plan schedules.
* Adjust and maintain Production and Repair Order schedules to ensure adherence to the requirements of the Master Production Schedule.
* Allocate components as necessary to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives.
* Validate and launch production orders for in house manufactured parts.
* Manage MRP exception messages.
* Maintain budgetary levels of inventory by rescheduling assets and by order cancellation.
* Authorise the timely procurement of externally supplied parts via a released purchase requisition.
* Procure parts from interplant and intercompany suppliers.
* Re-source components and fast track where necessary to meet the planned requirement dates from both internal manufactures and external procurement.
* Action quality notifications, and control / resolve the movements of non conforming parts.
* Organise and progress parts repairs and modification with consideration for the most effective solution in terms of cost and schedule including local rework.
* Operate an on loan system to provide assets to rig, A/C programmes etc.
* Ensure the control of end user certified parts.
* Co-ordinate applicable Direct Line Feed requirements.
* To monitor and expedite mod kit and repair list shortages.
* To provide kits and shop support to onsite and offsite modification and repair embodiments.
* To provide kit forecasts to internal customers.
* To load and manage sales orders.
* To manage R&O spares forecasts using appropriate tool.
