KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SUCCESSFUL MORTGAGE AND PROTECTION ADVISOR:
Effectively manage and prioritise your own clients from pre-qualified leads which have been provided to you
Ensure that they receive the best mortgage and protection option for them by searching our panel of over 90 UK lenders and providers.
Ensuring that the mortgage application process continuously adheres to the Financial Services Authority guidelines.
Liaise effectively with the lead providers to ensure smooth transitions and a fantastic customer journey from beginning to end of the process.
Problem solve based on information received and anticipate next steps wherever possible
Check documentation received from clients for completeness and accuracy and upload to in-house case file
Acquire and maintain knowledge of lenders' specific procedures and requirements
Work closely alongside the Sales Managers to ensure optimal effectiveness of existing processes
Support the team of Customer Service Advisors with on-going cases which have been submitted
Maintain a diary management system to ensure all clients are seen and dealt with promptly
Keep clear and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Key skills and requirement
• Must have Cemap 1, 2 and 3 qualifications
• Previous estate agent knowledge would be advantageous
• Essential to have prior experience working with a high number of lenders
• Ability to prioritise personal workload and effectively manage personal diary
• Ability to change and adapt to challenging situations using initiative
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar roles as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor.
