You'll have a minimum of 6 months paid experience at Band 5 level within a Mental Health Hospital within the last 3 years and have an active registration with NMC.

We are supporting a large Mental Health Trust in the Manchester area

They provide mental health and learning disability services to people across 200 distinct locations across five boroughs:

Bury, Oldham and Rochdale - mental health and learning disability services for children and adults
Tameside and Glossop - children and adult mental health and learning disability services, health improvement.
Stockport - mental health and learning disability services for children and adultsAreas of work available:

Working age adult wards
Older mental Health wards
Forensics/ Secure units
A&E Liaison
CAMH wards and Secure units
Psychiatric Intensive Care UnitThe Role

To carry out the role successfully, we are looking for candidates that can undertake the following:

To assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and therapeutic interventions that will assist in recovery and rehabilitation and develop daily living skills.
To supervise, monitor and support unqualified staff within the unit and ensure their compliance with policy.
To actively participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to clinical decisions regarding people within the unit.
To promote and facilitate involvement of care.
To manage caseloads effectively, making the best use of time and resources
To act as a positive role model for people in the unit and support them to achieve their full potential.
To contribute to the development and maintenance of a therapeutic environment
As part of a team maintain a safe environment for clients, staff and visitors.
To keep accurate and timely professional records of care and ensure their compliance with policy. Including electronic record keeping systems.
To carry out duties assigned by the unit management team.What You'll Get
