We're working closely with the organisation to recruit a Membership Executive, tasked with the recruitment and retention of new members to the association. Responsible for the needs of the leisure, commercial and inland sectors, the association represents its members in a wide manner of ways, as well as maintain a strong relationship when it comes to updates to regulation, governmental developments and securing funding for a variety of different means.
The Membership Executive will be a field based individual, tasked with visiting new and existing members to sell and evolve the benefits of being a part of the organisation. Further duties will include:
- Growth of the membership base
- Maintain close working relationships with the existing member base
- Reporting across the member base, passing on any queries or requests to relevant departments
- Feed back to the association on the wants and needs of the membership
- Build long term relationships across all tiers of a business.
As an individual, you will be passionate about the marine world and have a strong working knowledge of the sector. You'll be a seasoned salesman, capable of selling the benefits of the service you represent and then nurturing the relationships built thereafter. As a desirable further requirement, you'll have worked within a membership-based business previously, therefore being aware of the membership recruitment process. An outgoing personality is essential!
