Purpose of role

To deliver high quality training in line with Company standards and contractual requirements

Sultan Training operates within an environment of continuous improvement in support of the MoD; as such all employees are required to:

Key tasks
To deliver training in Electrical & Electronic principles in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
To carry out equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.

What do I need to do the role?

Qualifications
Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion)
Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace

Experience
Consolidated experience, or directly employed in electrical and electronic engineering principles.
Previous knowledge in the application of Marine electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to level 2 and 3 Electrical Engineering courses with an awareness of Electrical Theory, Electrical Safety, Power & Distribution, High Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment, Electrical Maintenance, Damage Control and Waste Processing.
Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian electrical and electronic environment
Experience in the development of electrical and electronic engineering based training courses
