Job Title: Media Account Manager *Option to WFH*

Salary: £28k-£30k+ uncapped bonus

Location: Near Ashford (Your own transport is required due to the location of the company)

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm with 1/2 hour for lunch

Flexibility: Our client is open to the option of the successful candidate working 4 days a week with a pro rata'd salary. They are also offering the opportunity to work from home and the office once training is complete.

As a Media Account Manager you'll be responsible for you achieving a set target for your product through the retention and growth (revenue and volume) of an existing client base and the successful closing of new business opportunities within a defined territory.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you are responsible for maximising revenues for your product through volume and yield of sales from your assigned client base.

This will include;

The management and growth of an existing business customer base in line with revenue and volume targets set out by your line manager. This will include title and account specific telephone targets.
The canvassing and closing of new business in line with revenue and volume targets set out by your line manager
The proactive retention of any cancelling business
The achievement of agreed performance and behavioral KPI's
The active participation in and implementation of any personal or team based training
The mentoring of new employees as and when required
Contributing to the team ethic and being a positive ambassador within the team
The maintenance of all required reporting or contact management systems, e.g. Pulse
A working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and PowerPointResponsibilities:


Maximize revenues from an existing client base
Actively source and close new leads
Ensure you are responsible for generating maximum revenue from your client base in accordance with targets/leads.
Ensure all agreed activity and performance KPI's are reached within the agreed time frames
Adhere to the rate card at all times (unless otherwise agreed with your line manager)Client

Maintain contact with key decision makers within your client base, adhering to the agreed contact plan.
Proactively account manage; developing strong relationships and keeping clients up to date with initiatives
Provide a professional, courteous and effective service to both external and internal customers at all times
Manage client queries in a swift and professional manner, liaising with all relevant people as and when required to ensure a solution is reached and any credits raised
Occasional visits to customers, trade shows, events, as the title and client requiresMarket

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of your product, market and competitor products/positioning.
Monitor sales progress through market share and project sales on a weekly/monthly basis for your assigned client base.
Ensure effective use of appropriate and most up to date sales/market information including reader surveys, reader and market research studiesAdmin

All data that is entered onto the system must be accurate and succinct.
Booking must be entered accurately and succinctly on the system at every level.
All administration set by your manager must be completed accurately and on time.Essential skills for this job:

Proven Media sales/Account Management experience and be able to demonstrate hitting individual and team targets
A consultative selling approach
Enthusiasm and passion to generate an atmosphere that has a positive influence on those around you
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to build and develop excellent client relationships that maximise revenue opportunity and retention
A passion for the Motor/Car industry is a distinct advantagePlease note: A Full Driving License is required for travel to and from client meetings/visits/events
