*Plan, develop and implement an effective marketing strategy complete with a defined marketing plan as part of the global management team.
*Champion marketing activities across the group in conjunction with local staff
*Acquire a sound understanding of company products and capabilities, including their respective applications.
*Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO (search engine optimisation) to ensure effective use of the mediums employed.
*Develop strategy and detailed plans for launching new products in different markets.
*Regularly analyse and report market conditions and areas of opportunity.
*Undertake detailed ongoing review of budgetary costs and maintain accurate records.
*Prepare detailed competitor analysis and track activity through their respective marketing campaigns and announcements.
*Formulate and action a social media strategy for the business and maximise 'followers' on chosen social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
*Analyse social media insights to guide future marketing campaigns and maintain an awareness of new, and relevant, social media channels together with their impact on the marketing strategy.
*Actively engage with customers directly and through the use of social media.
*Drive brand awareness across defined market sectors and industries.
*Create and maintain a library of images and video to support creative marketing activities.
*Seek customer permission to use their title or referencing to work completed for them and maintain accurate records.
*Formulate an advertising campaign to support the marketing work i.e. press releases and establish direct communication with editors of the relevant trade journals.
*Establish effective working relationships with internal creative staff and external agencies
*Maintain and update customer databases including relevant supporting details and information - in strict accordance with current GDPR legislation.
*Work with the creative team and web design agency to monitor and improve the performance of the website, ensuing high ratings on search engines in all markets of interest.
*Provide regular ongoing materials for inclusion on the website to create interest and ensure the website is regularly refreshed.
*Write copy and proofread all direct marketing communications including letters, emails, social media content and website. Develop the brand guidelines for the group.
*Develop marketing support for the company's dealers, distributors and partners
