Successful and growing not for profit organisation in central Bristol offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their small and friendly team.
This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday 09.00 am - 5.00 pm and the salary on offer is up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience). Additional benefits will include 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, 4% pension scheme and the option to complete a certificate/diploma for free.
On occasion you will need to travel and take some out of hours work.
You will be effectively communicating the organisation's services, products and activities to different stakeholders to increase the reach and profile of the client internationally, and to ensure maximum engagement with members and other partners globally.
You will be reporting the commercial director, you will be implementing a communications strategy and plan to support the goals of the organisation. Plan the marketing and communications strategies for specific areas and audiences and develop online channels specifically the website to ensure continued relevance of content.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and management of a communications strategy and plans to support the company goals, products, events and activities.
Manage the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications strategy using traditional and digital approaches, including social media in order to target specific audiences. Coordinate communications and marketing to ensure that an influential, distinctive and consistent message and image across all activities. You will also develop and commission an appropriate range of marketing materials including adverts, marketing flyers, publications and exhibition material. Manage and keep up to date appropriate lists and data within the CRM, proactively working with colleagues and volunteers on projects, products and services to identify opportunities to enhance profile and brand identity. You will also manage the presence at identified internal and external events ensuring the coordination of logistics.
We are looking for previous, significant experience in marketing and or integrated communications in a busy and demanding environment. Experience of successfully implementing and evaluating marketing and communications plans to communicate technical information effectively to achieve agreed objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work at all levels, excellent verbal communication skills, ability to articulate sometimes complex issues coherently to internal and external stakeholders.
You'll need to have accomplished writing and editing skills with the ability to adjust writing style to communicate effectively to target audiences. You'll need to have both a creative and practical approach, very strong organisational and project management skills, ability to use data and analytics from the CRM, email communications system, website and social media channels.
You will need to have a good understanding of digital communications including e-marketing, social media and search marketing.
