Joining an established and successful business in a beautiful environment on the Norfolk Broads your focus will be on the sale of marine services and developing the engineering and marine support functions of the business.
The Technical Sales Representative will also drive sales of brand partner products including Volvo Penta, to both new and existing clients.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a sound technical knowledge ofleisure marine products.
Previous experience of marine technical sales, pro-active approach to work and a commercial mind-set are all essential skills.
Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems would be advantageous.
oAchieve key activities and targets as set by the Sales Manager
oAccurate customer record management, measured through the quality and size of the customer/prospects database
oPositive and effective communication is essential across all departments
oWork at Local, National and International boat/trade shows to promote and sell marine services work
oConvert enquiries to sales and manage the ongoing customer relationship
oManage new orders through entire process and in good time providing accurate quotations and updating system
oCarry out pre-delivery quality inspections on works carried out for your customers to ensure high level standards are adhered to
oIdentify and develop key B2B and B2C relationships
oReport on sales pipeline, progress of aftersales work, conversion rates and success of marketing channels
Competitive salary plus commission.
