What you will be doing

You will join a team that works well together to provide care to men and women with learning disabilities; supporting people to lead a valued and fulfilled life. Whether you have been a Care Worker or Healthcare Assistant, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week because of you.

You will work 35 hours a week between the hours of 7:00am and 9:30pm.

We are actively encouraging male candidates to apply for this opportunity at our specialist residential service in Tonbridge. This is to accommodate the needs of our service users in the most efficient manner.

Where you will be working

Location: Station Rd, Staplehurst, Tonbridge TN12 0PZ

You will be working at Gresham House, a service recognised as Outstanding by the CQC, which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Whether it is moving from their community placement or a family home because they require more structured care and support.
