Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire (WA7 5TN)
Salary: £34,000.00
Hrs : Any 5 from 7 days (Rota- must be flexible)
Contract Type: Permanent
Sector: Engineering

Our client is a large and successful group of companies ensuring patients and the public have access to high-quality healthcare in the UK and across Europe. They specialise in medicine distribution, pharmaceutical care and pharmacy based primary care services.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown cover and repair on all aspects of their state of the art facilities.

As a Maintenance Technician your duties will be :-

" Maintain high volume picking and packing machinery.
" Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
" Assisting in supervision and control of all mechanical or electrical operations.
" Maintaining and contributing to the various building service contracts.
" Generate paper work to keep up to date records of all maintenance work and spares.
" Adhere to Health and Safety legislation.

The successful Maintenance Technician will hold the following skills/experience:-

" Must have a broad based electrical or mechanical engineering background.
" Ideally have PLC and Pneumatics knowledge.
" Fully competent in Microsoft Office applications.
" Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
" Highly motivated using diligence and attention to detail to effectively complete all duties to a high standard.

This role requires shift work, therefore, you will need to be flexible in your approach to your working hours. There may also be the possibility of away work for breakdowns or scheduled maintenance visits.
