Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing firm who specialise in the production of crop-based products.

The is a permanent role offering a competitive salary with overtime available at increased rates.

This position is on a permanent day shift, 07:00-15:00. You will be required to be on call as the company does operate 24/5 during winter & 24/7 in summer. Though you are on call, call outs are rotated between all the engineers.

If you are currently working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer or industrial electrician and are looking to get off a shift pattern, then this could be the role for you.

To be considered for this role you must have the experience and initiative to be able to deal with all reactive electrical maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.

Required skills:

Experience within a fast paced industrial / factory environment
Must have 17th edition wiring
PLC fault-finding, three phase wiring, sensors
Experience working with electrical control systems
Ability to find solutions to problems
Able out planned and reactive maintenance in an industrial/factory environment
Ability to work on own initiative and plan own workload
Due to the high volume of the workload the company are only after a maintenance electrician who has previous experience within a similar fast paced production setting.

You will also be expected to work in confined spaces so you must be comfortable with that environment.

Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. Overtime rates are time & ½ for any hours over 40 worked. You do have the potential to earn £40k + OTE.

Due to the location of the role you will need your own form of transport.

The company are fortunate enough to have remained busy during COVID-19 and are able to take someone on ASAP.
