Job Title - Maintenance Assistant Manager for Private Health Clinic Part Time
Required - At least one year's experience within a similar role pref within a Clinical setting
Salary - Up to £34,000 per year negostiable depending on experience
Hours - Start 6.30am - 37.5hours per week, occ weekend work required
Location - Central London close to transport links
Type of role - Full Time/Permanent

Our client is a high end Fertility Clinic who are renowned for looking after both their patients and their staff. Due to expansion within the Clinic in Central London and also a Satellite Clinic in Kent they are now seeking a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to be on hand daily assisting within the Clinic, someone who is now seeking a Full Time role moving into Management but has previously worked within Maintenance and the preference would be someone who has worked within either a Hospital or Clinic so understands gasses, generators and can assist with the moving of heavy items, stock, snagging and other duties such as joinery, plumbing and electrics but respecting the patients at all times.We need someone who may have had previous Supervisory experience looking for promotion into Management once trained within the Clinic.

A reliable and highly organised individual, who can multi-task and able to prioritise the workload and assist the team in the day to day running of the site/s. Be resilient, driven, always determined and act professionally. Able to work on their own initiative, remaining calm under pressure with excellent interpersonal skills and able to work to a high, quality standard of building maintenance in a clinical setting.

Duties for this job will include:
* • Complete maintenance tasks delegated across all sites, internally and externally
* • Assist with regular Health and Safety risk assessments/audits in line with HFEA and CQC regulations
* • Complete test of thermostatic mixing valves, flushing little used taps,
* • Replacing ventilation filters and cleaning AC units in line with legionella requirements
* • Accept deliveries and complete stock/equipment distribution around site/s in all weathers
* • Assist with the heavy lifting and distribution and storage of stock/equipment across sites
* • Under supervision, assist with exchanging Medical and Lab gas manifolds and exchanging cylinders
* • Adhere to COSHH regulations in regards health and safety
* • As instructed carry out of maintenance tests, (emergency lighting, weekly fire test, etc.)
* • Complete snagging tasks across sites and ensure they are completed to a high standard
* • Carry out daily/weekly tasks, such as checking door handles/hinges, cleaning sink traps and drainage system
* Assist with clearing and setting up of rooms for events
* • Assist with regular deep cleaning and emergency deep cleaning, following a confirmed reported case of Covid-19
* • Be presentable and wear PPE equipment in line with HFEA and Covid-19 Staff policy
* • Assist Maintenance Manager and Head of HR in the refurbishment of any site
* • Assist the Site Maintenance Manager and Head of HR with site preparation of audits with the HFEA, CQC or any regulatory inspections
* • Complete annual mandatory online training, manual handline training and any specific training required to enhance skills and experience for the role
