Job Description

Maintenance Assistant – Fulltime Post 37.5 hours per week – Oakleaf Care, Northampton.

We are looking to recruit a Fulltime, Maintenance Assistant to work as a member of our well established facilities team in maintaining and ensuring a high standard environment for our reputable Nursing Homes based within the Northamptonshire area. The general upkeep, safety and security of our residents and staff teams is of paramount importance. You will take an active team role in supporting our services and assisting with the quality of life for our residents in a comfortable and safe environment.

* You will have experience of general building maintenance, and be able to work under your own initiative and use your judgement, seeking advice as needed in order to comply with company policies and procedures.

* General electrical and plumbing experience

* General DIY knowledge

* General Building repairs

* Able to move furniture and offering general portering

* Some driving between sites required

* No Bank Holiday working but some rota on call

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, with a friendly and outgoing nature.

A driver’s licence is required. Comprehensive training specific to role will be provided
