Shifts : 09:00- 17:00 Monday- Friday

The Company
Being the largest independent sales and service company, servicing laboratories/equipment for various industries in the UK/ Europe and Asia, our client is looking for a highly motivated Maintenance & Service Coordinator to join their expanding team.

Job Purpose
A Maintenance & Service Coordinator will be required to support the administration of the service department, working alongside the service manager to schedule all engineer visits, logging all breakdowns, plan PM visits whilst keeping accurate records of contracts and equipment and communicating with customers.


As a Maintenance & Service Coordinator, your duties will be:

" Main contact for incoming service calls.
" Ensure all customer email communication has an initial response.
" Logging all issues/requests and liaising with the service manager.
" Schedule and re-schedule breakdown visits and communicate to customers.
" Prepare and schedule PM visit with all engineers and raise job cards accordingly.
" Keep shared engineers calendar updated with engineer visits.
" Raise purchase orders for sub-contractors.
" Receive service reports and update system on a regular basis.
" Chase up service engineers for reports
" Request serial numbers and system details for new customers.


An ideal Maintenance & Service Coordinator will hold the following skills and experiences:

" Must have previous experience working within a fast paced customer service role.
" Must have experience/knowledge with CRM systems
" Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
" Excellent telephone manner
" Excellent organisational skills and time management.
" A "keen to learn" approach and positive outlook.
