Salary: £32,000 + shift allowance (extra £6,000 annually) 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
Are you an M & E Engineer who specialises within commercial building services? If so are you interested in working for one of the most successful Service Providers with a national presence?
FMC Network are proud to be working with one of the most outstanding service providers, assisting them to find an excellent M and E engineer in Wiltshire or within a commutable distance on a full time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
Time served apprenticeship or level 3 in either refrigeration, Electrical or Mechanical discipline
Multi-skilled background with a good understanding of steam generation and HVAC systems
A minimum of four years' substantial operational and technical experience with demonstrated potential.
To have a working knowledge of the current HVCA Codes or Practice and installation
Preparation and operation of planned maintenance
To be conversant with general Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and in particular the "PUWER regulations" and risk assessments
Knowledge of key operational procedures e.g. time sheets, planned maintenance systems, Quality and Health & Safety.
Demonstrated ‘hands-on' technical expertise in a number of key operational areas.
Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS (desirable)
Understanding of A/C systems and controls (desirable)
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or processing industry and working within a GMP environment would be an advantage.
Be able to communicate effectively and have flexible approach to work patterns.
Knowledge of building fabric repairs (desirable)
To work reasonable overtime as and when required.
Requires shift working
