Babcock International and Devonport The Logistics Training Co-ordinator role is based within our Devonport Royal Dockyard business area.

Comprising of 14 dry docks, four miles of waterfront and 25 tidal berths, Devonport is the base for numerous surface vessels as well as the base and refit centre for the Trafalgar-class nuclear-powered submarines. Devonport has also recently been selected as the base port for the Navy's new Type 26 frigates and will become the maintenance centre for the future submarine programme.

The roleThe difference our new Logistics Training Co-ordinator will makeAs a Logistics Training Co-ordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This role is required as its focused on the analysis of the legacy training gaps but will also be expected to analyse new and emerging requirements.
Day to day, you'll co-ordinate the planning, development and delivery of all training requirements for the Logistics department.

Essential experience- A background in Logistics or Engineering
- Background in training or assessing
- The ability to design courses
- Strong administrative and organisation skills with a high degree of integrity.
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office packages specifically Word and Excel.
- Good customer facing skills.
- SharePoint site experience.
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve a SC Clearance.
